Welcome to Strawbale Café!
We have been painting and cleaning, sanding and sewing and sowing and the newly opened cafe now has a fresh look and a fresh menu using salads and herbs from the garden.
Café opening times
The cafe is open from Thursday - Sunday 10am - 3.45pm
The café
We hire the space out on the Monday
and Tuesday, catered or uncatered, at £20 per hour. Tea,
coffee and cakes from £2.00 to £5.00 per person. For more

The café building
The café has been built by farm volunteers out of traditionally jointed
green oak with straw bale insulated walls and a green roof.
The café seats around 24 people with outdoor seating for a further 20
in the garden.
Café menu
The café is
vegetarian serving freshly made soups, salads and snacks.
Blackboard specials change daily and there is also a selection of cakes
and pastries as well as a healthy eating children's menu.
We serve coffee, a selection of
teas, fresh juices and smoothies. All proceeds from the café
go towards keeping the farm open and developing new farm
projects. The café is partly run by volunteers and provides a
training programme and work experience for young people.
